Light Alive Marketing is excited to once again host our annual Angel Tree partnered with Family Promise of Lawton!
On Tuesday, December 1st, the world celebrated Giving Tuesday. Giving Tuesday is celebrated every year on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving in the United States. It is touted as a “global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.”
Tuesday December 1st also marked the first day of the first annual “Nonprofit Month” here in Oklahoma. Gov. Kevin Stitt declared December as ‘Oklahoma Nonprofit Month’, a time to thank, support, and donate time, resources, or monetary gifts to support nonprofit organizations across the state.
Governor Stitt stated, “I am proud to declare December “Oklahoma Nonprofit Month” in honor of the organizations that selflessly serve the most vulnerable populations in our state. Consider supporting your favorite nonprofit today!”
Light Alive Angel Tree for Family Promise of Lawton
It’s especially important to highlight our nonprofits and local businesses this month. As the holidays approach, many of our local nonprofits work hard to create unity, raise funds, and provide assistance to those in need. Light Alive Marketing is proud to partner with local nonprofit Family Promise of Lawton to offer our second annual Angel Tree, located in our lobby located at 1001 SW B Avenue as well as online: https://www.lightalive.marketing/angel-tree/.
Join Us in Reaching Our Goal!
Our goal this year is to support three local families in need of various items. On the tree in our lobby, you’ll find tags with the items requested by the family. We have over 100 items on our tree to consider gifting. You’ll also find the family member’s information including age and gender. This can help to best select gifts for their needs. We ask you to consider choosing your contribution item(s) by December 17th. You may choose your items in person off our tree, or by going online and selecting your items there.
Our lobby will be open for collecting your gifts until December 21st at 5pm. We will then deliver your gifts to the families in time for Christmas.
